Wraparound Care

Wraparound Care

We provide wraparound care outside of core school hours from 7.40am to 6.30pm for children in the nursery and pre-prep during term-time.

We are aware of the difficulties of working parents who need wraparound care for their children. If your working hours or other commitments mean you need your child to be cared for beyond the school day, you can rest assured that they are well taken care of either before school, after, or both.

With our wraparound care, we aim to create a family experience before and after the standard school day. Our pupils lead busy lives and we believe it is very important that they have the chance to relax.

Timings

Morning care is available from 7.40 am and afternoon care runs until 6.30 pm.

How it works

All activities, clubs, and wraparound care need to be pre-booked in advance for the term.

Breakfast club

Breakfast club runs daily from 7.40 am-8.15 am and is staffed by a member of the pre-prep team. Children will join the prep school in the main dining hall for breakfast and then be brought over to the pre-prep at the start of the school day.

Sports and outdoors club will offer Year 1s and 2s the opportunity to get active outside, and will sometimes include team sports, whilst at other times the children will make the most of being outside and enjoying a range of active games.

Creative club will combine nature, arts, and crafts, with a different focus each week. Where possible, the children will go outside.

Friday Fun, also known as ‘Freedom Friday’, is a more relaxed club where children can choose an activity. This club is designed to be more relaxed to accommodate the children’s tiredness at the end of the week.
