Part Time Learning Support Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Learning Support Assistant to join our teaching staff in Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will support an individual child with the learning. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a nurturing learning environment, assisting teachers and foster the development of a young learner.
The hours of work are expected to be 8.30am - 12.00pm, Monday to Firday, during term time only.

Duties
- Provide one-on-one support to children in class
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing tailored learning activities
- Support children with behavioural, social, and emotional development
- Help organise classroom resources and materials to facilitate inclusive education
- Communicate effectively with children, teachers, and parents to ensure consistent support
- Assist during outings, playtime, and specialised programmes as required
Skills
- Experience working with children would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills to engage children and collaborate with staff and parents
- Organised, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learners
- Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
