Year 4: Mayan Day

Year 4 have been busy learning about the Ancient Maya Civilisation this term. We had a wonderful themed day, where we celebrated the Mayan’s artistic, religious and culinary flare. The children’s highlight was drinking hot chocolate lovingly cooked on the fire outside, printing their own names in Mayan hieroglyphs and playing a spot of ‘Pok-ta-pok’ (Mayan football).
