Sport: Cricket U12A v Hanford

U12A v Hanford.  It was a perfect summer’s afternoon for cricket.  The girls were buzzing and were determined to win their final match of the term.  Hanford won the toss and put us into bat.  Oriana and Laura opened the batting with style and panache, scoring a 6 and two fours off the first three balls.  The strong batting continued through the order and we finished on 300 having lost only 4 wickets.  Our bowling was consistently strong through the order with Laura having a maiden over and Florence getting a lovely wicket in the final over.
