Sandroyd Ski Trip to Austria
After a break of a few years the school ski trip headed off to Austria at the beginning of April, with a good number of unaccompanied children as well as families from the pre-prep and prep school, ready to enjoy the slopes of the spectacular Ski Amadé region. Children and adults received six days of ski tuition with time to ski as family groups or within their friendship groups and progress was marked by those beginner skiers being able to comfortably take on red runs by the end of the week. Evening entertainment included bowling, tobogganing and shopping; however, the group did not have to venture far from the hotel which included a fabulous pool and spa area- and even a rather chilly lake for those who were brave enough to take the plunge! The week was topped off by an official prize giving where children and adults alike were awarded medals and certificates. The school ski trip was a wonderful way to start the Easter holidays. Thank you to Mr Webster and Mrs Campbell-Hill for organising a fantastic week on the slopes.
