National Poetry Day 2021

On Thursday, all the children at Sandroyd took part in National Poetry Day. Over the course of the day, there were recitations throughout the school; in class, in the adventure playground at break time, during breakfast, lunch and supper, on the sports pitches and also in the dorms. A huge variety of poems were chosen and also several poems written by the children themselves. All the recitations, without exception, were brilliantly delivered; huge thanks to all of the children that took part, and to the English teaching staff for preparing them so well.
