GAP Students
The GAP students play such a valuable role at the school that I thought it was only right and proper to give them some space on our site and introduce them through this page to our parents. Sadly, in many cases, by the time the parents have got to know these young men and women it is time for them to move on.
The students usually join us just for one year, from January to December. In the main they come from the southern hemisphere, particularly Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. They have mostly just finished school and are taking a year out before moving on to University or some other form of higher training.
------------------------------------------ Calling all GAP students We would love to know what you are doing now – e-mail your news to me, Andrew Brisbane , and I’ll publish it on a special page (under 'Main Menu') for your ex-pupils and colleagues to read For the latest news of our ex-GAPPERS click here ----------------------------------------- GAP Students 2012 From left to right: Richard Campbell, Elizabeth Kemp, Bridgette Cosgrove and Lewis Roney
---------------------------------------------------- Many of these young people come to us through the GAP organisation and through personal recommendation (often by previous students). They do a terrific job here in all sorts of areas – particularly on the games field but also in a huge variety of administrative and recreational ways. They need to be dedicated, tireless and have a sense of humour – qualities which they generally show in abundance and which are sincerely appreciated by staff and children alike. We wish all our ‘Gappers’ a happy and fulfilling stay with us.
