Common Entrance Success

Our 2017 Common Entrance candidates have all won places into their first choice school. There have been some outstanding results across all subjects, which is a testimony to the hard work of both the pupils and their teachers. In total, over 100 A and A* grades were awarded to our year 8 leavers and we are incredibly proud of all of them.

Amongst many personal successes, we were delighted to hear that we achieved top ten Common Entrance results at Harrow, Sherborne, Marlborough and Bryanston.

This success closely follows on from the news that pupils won an impressive 12 scholarships and exhibitions to leading senior schools, as well successfully passing the Winchester entrance papers.

The schools that this year’s leavers have won places at include: Bryanston School, Dean Close School, Clifton College, Harrow, Eton, Marlborough College, Millfield, Monkton Combe School, Oundle School, Radley College, Sherborne School, Sherborne School for Girls, Shrewsbury School, Stonar and Winchester.
