Boarders Weekend 1st/2nd Oct

On the first weekend of October the boarders we immersed in a huge array of activities. After matches and tea on Saturday there was a fancy dress dodgeball competition, an interactive quiz, family party games on the Wii and a film to watch. Everyone took part and there was a lot of laughter and competitiveness!!

On the Sunday after a lovely chapel service, where the Rev Wilson-Brown from King’s Bruton gave an excellent sermon, there was a huge amount of activities on offer for the children staying in. These included a trip to the Larmer Tree Gardens to find all the fairy doors, apple pressing, football and cricket, a swim, cookery and a chance to try and beat some school records e.g. how many children can you fit in a telephone box!! By the end of the day all the children had had a great weekend and were ready for bed. Thank you to all the Houseparents and duty staff who organised such a great weekend.
