Catherine Harris, in conjunction with our chef, Robert Doble, is determined to support local food growers and suppliers whenever and wherever possible.   Below is a list of our food sources

Meat

All meat is supplied by two high-class local butchers:

Simon Harvel of Iwerne Minster – all his meat is sourced from local farms

Paul Buttling of Ludwell – well known for his award-winning sausages

Congratulations to T Buttling Butchers Ltd for winning seven awards in the recent South West Roadshow and Product Evaluation Event which aims to find the best meat products made and sold by buutchers in the region.

Fish

Local supplier Premier Fish also supplies local top-class restaurants.  Some of the fish is sourced from Poole

Oil

From the beginning of October the school will be buying local rape seed oil produced by Martin Lovell

Eggs

All the eggs are high-quality and free-range supplied by Martin Lovell in Sixpenny Handley

Honey
